NARI’s Networking Mixer at our Office

The National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is a national association with chapters throughout the Unites States. NARI's mission is to help promote professionalism within the home remodeling industry. The association is made up of local contractors, subcontractors and other trades people working in the remodeling industry who gain valuable knowledge and networking opportunities from being members.

For consumers, NARI aims to educate the public about its community purpose and to serve as the primary resource for information about local remodeling contractors. NARI and its members adhere to a code of ethics thus safeguarding homeowners during the remodeling process.

Business remodeling members of NARI enjoy the chance to find discounts on consumer marketing tools to help grow their business that they could not normally receive. Being a member of NARI increases a company's recognition and reputation, earning them a larger possible customer base and recommendations from the association. NARI offers their remodeling members educational opportunities within their specialized field by offering classes and video seminars to help increase certification opportunities. Additionally, NARI provides members an opportunity to meet and utilize their ability to obtain group purchasing discounts on items that they use on remodeling projects.

Along with the many member benefits mentioned above, each NARI local chapter hosts networking mixers to enable their members to meet with other local chapter members. On May 15, the San Diego NARI chapter held a networking event at our San Diego Showroom, located at 1176 Morena Blvd. The members were dressed to impress and had a great time getting to know each other. The mixer included sponsor trade tables by Milgard Windows & Doors and El & El Wood Products Corp. It would not be a networking event without food! There were an assortment of beverages and delicious food catered by Rustico Ristorante & Pizzeria.

Members also had the opportunity to stroll through our beautiful two-story San Diego showroom that houses a huge assortment of windows and doors. There was much to admire from the gorgeous frosted-glass door with the word “pantry” etched into it to the classic solid wood doors with many finish options. We strive to be a great partner for NARI members to team with. Newman Windows has a solid reputation for having exceptional products, always being on time, attentive customer service and free in-home estimates.

There are many benefits to being a NARI member and attending their networking events. This is a great time to learn, expand and network with other people working in the remodeling industry. In some cases, some contractors do not handle certain parts of a remodel and may recommend another NARI member that they recently met at a mixer. Another contractor might have a solution to a recent problem that you have not thought of. Plus, it is a great time to hang out with people who share your passion while laughing and talking the evening away.
